• Register your lost item on this same website

• Follow 4 simple steps indicating what you lost, when and where, and your contact details. Be as specific as possible, as it will be easier to identify and match your item

• When a lost item is found, it is handed over to the airport's Lost and Found Office and registered on Foundspot. When the system matches the item to your description, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm and start the process of shipping it by courier or picking it up at the airport.

It may take 2 days to 1 week between the time the item is found and the time you receive the notification. It can take a few days before the items are delivered to the Foundspot and registered on Foundspot.

When you receive an e-mail notifying you that your item has been found, you must confirm that it has been matched and choose how to collect it (in person, by proxy or courier).

Yes, you can collect the item in person by appointment only by contacting the phone number or sending an e-mail as instructed in the retrieval confirmation.

In the event of collection by a proxy, the following documents must be presented/sent: - proxy for collection stating the name of the delegated person -photocopy of yourID -photocopy of the identification document of the person delegated to collect the item .

Yes. Click on 'Proceed to ship' and fill in the shipment form and credit card payment details. The item will be sent by the chosen courier to the postal address provided.

The cost of shipping depends on the destination and the type of service: standard or premium. After completing the form, the shipping costs will be visible in the summary.
Note: Some countries carry additional fees. These fees are not included in the shipping costs as they are customs duties. To avoid any unpleasant inconveniences, we recommend that you check the customs regulations of the destination country.

Once you have completed the shipment form, you will receive an e-mail with the relevant tracking code and link to track the shipment.

Transit from the Malpensa Returned Goods Office to the shipping address depends on the destination and the type of service: standard or premium.
After completing the shipment form you will be able to view the delivery summary. -Also take into account 1-2 days handling time at the Returned Goods Office (open Monday to Friday excluding holidays). Customs deductions are not to be considered part of the transit time and depend on the import requirements and/or mechanisms of each country.

Normally it takes 2 to 4 days for a lost item to reach the Lost and Found Office. For various reasons there are cases where it can take longer; After 12 months, unsolved searches are closed for good.

Property found at Malpensa airport is handled by personnel authorised by SEA. Foundspot provides the platform for the management of found objects. Foundspot also provides technical support in the event of any problems.

You will only receive a notification if there is a match with the lost item.

We advise you to follow these steps.

Make sure you have entered all the information and specifications of the item to help us identify it.

Check the spam or junk mail folder to make sure that the corresponding e-mail is not there; sometimes e-mails may be automatically filtered as spam. Make sure you have waited the time specified in the ‘How it works' section to receive the corresponding e-mail. The process of finding and matching found items can take time.

For  lost checked baggage and items left on board the aircraft, please contact your airline's Lost & Found office located inside the customs area before exiting the baggage claim area. Here you can initiate the lost luggage ticket (PIR) with your airline.
